The Golden Child is currently cruising the Murray River and apparently providing some terrifying moments on an otherwise peaceful boat trip 🙂 ...

This book is touring the Murray River with my family. After much pestering from me, it has done the rounds of the boat with Amy from Lost in a Good Book and I watching everyone's reactions closely. So far it has been sworn at, yelled at, thrown and ran away from. But everytime the reader returns with trepidation clear upon their face; the need to know and gain some sort of closure clearly winning out over the fear and outrage at some of the characters actions. It's like a car crash that you can't look away from without knowing what is happening. I've already reviewed this book on the blog but if you are looking for a brilliant but socially terrifying book to read then you can not go past 'The Golden Child' by Wendy James #exploreaus #Murrayriver #nofilter #mustread #aussieauthor
